Date of Death: Monday 23rd September 2024

We, the family of Kathleen would line to express our profound thanks to everyone who sympathised with us on the recent death of our Mother. Our heartfelt thanks to all who called at the house, sent cards and messages of condolence, provided food and attended the funeral.

Special thanks to the District Nursing team, Acute Care team and Campbells Surgery for their help and support throughout Mum’s illness. Sincere thanks to Mum’s Carers who gave excellent care and kindness in Mum’s day-to-day care. The help and care they provided to Mum and us as a family was exceptional.

Thank you to Fr. Breslin who called to see Mum regularly and more often in her last few days. Thanks to Fr. McAleer for his touching Requiem Mass. Thanks also to Fr. McGuckin and Fr. Moore.  Many thanks to the grave diggers and car parking stewards.  To Galbally Community Centre for use of their equipment and centre for funeral lunch. Thanks also to Quin’s Corner for providing the refreshments after the funeral.  Thanks to KC Marquees for their services.

A heartfelt thanks to the musicians and singer Briege Canavan who graciously provided the music during the Requiem Mass. Thank you most sincerely to Kate McAleer at McAleer Bros Funeral Directors, Pomeroy for the dignified and professional way in which the funeral arrangements were carried out. The guidance, kindness, consideration and support given to us was exceptional.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation.
