We, the family of the late Kathleen Hurson, would like to extend our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported and sympathised with us during the recent sad loss of our much loved mum, granny, mother-in-law, sister, sister-in law, aunt and friend.

Many thanks to all those who attended the wake and funeral, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, flowers, phoned, left messages via social media and brought food. It brought us great comfort. A special word of thanks to all the kind relatives, friends, neighbours and Edendork GAC who helped out during the wake and assisted with the funeral. Your kindness and support was very much appreciated.

Special thanks to Dean Donaghy for celebrating Requiem Mass and his beautiful and personal homily; also Fr McCamley for his support and guidance during our mum’s brief illness and throughout the wake, and to Fr McAleer for assisting with the burial.

Special thanks to Malachi Cush, Rory Madden, Donna Campbell, Anna and Gerard Byrne for the beautiful and touching singing and music during the Funeral Mass.

Thanks also to Quinn’s Corner for the lovely meal following the funeral.

We wish to convey our thanks to the medical team at Craigavon Area Hospital, Parkview Surgery, District Nurses, Macmillan Cancer Care and Marie Curie for their care and support for mum.

Finally, a special word of thanks to Kate McAleer, Funeral Director, and Peter, for carrying out the funeral arrangements with great dignity and professionalism and to the grave digger for preparing mum’s final resting place.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this as an expression of our deep appreciation.

Mum’s Months Mind Mass will take place on Friday 12th May in St. Malachy’s Church, Edendork at 7.30pm.
