Kay McALINDEN (née Brannigan)

Date of Death: Sunday 16th November 2025 Town: Dungannon

Family Acknowledgement

We, the family of the late Kay McAlinden would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all those who offered kindness, support and companionship during the difficult days surrounding her passing. We have been overwhelmed with the number of people who called with us, attended the wake and funeral, sent cards, messages, supplied food or helped in any way. Thanks to Pauline and our neighbours and friends in Dunlea Vale.

A special thank you to all of mummy’s wonderful carers from Ann’s and Enable Care, especially Helen’s Angels, who cared for Kay with such love and for providing a guard of honour at the church entrance!

Thank you to the wonderful staff at Campbell’s Surgery and to Adrian and the fabulous team in Gordon’s Chemist Dungannon.
We send our sincere thanks and deep appreciation to the Acute Care at Home Team, Tanya and the Dungannon District Nursing Team and the Marie Curie Team. We truly appreciate all the help and care provided which made mummy’s last weeks so comfortable.

We are very grateful to Father Eamon McCamley for his guidance and help. Thanks to him and Father Seamus White for a beautiful funeral and continued prayers.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to the most amazing funeral. Special thanks to Margaret and Paul for the gorgeous music. Thanks to wee Eva who sang so beautifully. Thanks to the sacristans for preparing the chapel and to Peter McHugh and the grave diggers for preparing Kay’s final resting place.

A very special thanks to the wonderful Kate McAleer and John Donaghy for the very professional and dignified manner in which they took care of all the funeral arrangements. We will be forever grateful for all their guidance, kindness and support.
Thanks to The Gables Restaurant for providing the food and refreshments after the funeral.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deep gratitude and appreciation.

As we prepare for Kay’s months mind mass we are reminded of the love and care shown to her and to us, we are forever grateful. Please join us for Kay’s months Mind Mass on Monday 15th December at 7.30pm in St Patrick’s Church, Dungannon. St Padre Pio pray for her
