We the family of the late Cyrena Kearney wish to offer our heartfelt thanks and sincere appreciation to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent sad bereavement of our mother. Thank you to all who sent messages of condolences, cards, flowers, donations in lieu of flowers, brought food, called at our home or paid their respects along the funeral route.
Many thanks to all Cyrena’s close friends for all their support and kindness.
We would like to mention a extra thank you to Angela Digney for caring for our mum from the first day of her diagnosis till her final day we will never forget what you done for her and for us we will always be grateful for this.
To All the staff in Ardview House for the touching dignified guard of honour outside mummy’s place of work and the guard of honour outside the chapel.
We wish to express our gratitude to all the healthcare professionals, doctors, Ardglass chemist, district nursing team especially Sister Sarah Rocks and Nurse Kiera Turley for their compassion and support given to our family as we cared for Mummy at home in her final few weeks.
Thank you to Fr McCluskey for celebrating a beautiful requiem mass, supporting the family spiritually and to Bernie Campbell for her lovely singing.

Thanks to Ciaran Fitzpatrick and his team at Seamus Fitzsimons Funeral Directors for their support, dignity and respect shown towards our Mummy.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually for their kindness, We hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as an expression of our deepest thanks.

Cyrena’s months mind will be celebrated in Saint Nicholas Chapel on Saturday the 2nd of April at 6.30pm

KEARNEY (née Sutcliffe) Cyrena – Died 5th March 2022, peacefully at her late residence in Ardglass.

Dearly beloved partner of Jonathan and loving and devoted mother to Stacey, Orla and Sheree. Dear mother in law. Cherished grandmother to Lauren, Ellie, Tamara, Tianna, Marcus, Tia, Georgia and Zara. Dearest daughter of Gabrielle and the late Walter.
Much loved sister of Phillip, Monica, Karl and Sonya.

Funeral from her late residence on Monday 7th March 2022 at 12 noon to arrive at 1 pm at St Nicholas’ Church Ardglass. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Calvary cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to Macmillan Cancer Support C/o Seamus Fitzsimons Funeral Directors, 24 English Street, Downpatrick Co Down BT30 6AB.

Very deeply regretted by her many close friends, work colleagues and entire family circle. St Padre Pio pray for her.
