We, the family of the late Patrick Keenan would like to thank all those who sympathised with us on the recent loss of our daddy, grandfather and brother. Thank you to all those who called to the funeral home , sent cards, left messages on social media or helped in any way over the course of the wake and funeral.
We would like to express our appreciation to all the staff at Glencarron Nursing Home Crossmaglen, Dr Allen at Rathkeeland House for all their dedicated care and attention to daddy over the past ten years.
We wish to thank Fr. Naughton for conducting a beautiful funeral mass and to Ellen Maguire for the lovely music at the mass.
Thank you to Mc Gennity Funeral Directors for their professional services.
Patrick’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 8th June 2025 at 10.00am in St. Joseph’s Church, Meigh.
May he rest in eternal peace.

KEENAN Patrick – R.I.P. Formerly of St. Moninna Park, Meigh. Passed away peacefully 2nd May 2025. Beloved husband of the late Ann, loving father of Elaine (Christopher) and Lorna (Gavin), grandfather to David, Emma, Rhea and Ava, predeceased by his parents Mary and Daniel Keenan, his sisters Mary and Angela and his brothers John and Danny.

Pat’s remains will repose at McGennity’s Funeral Home, 18 Forkhill Road, Newry BT35 8LZ this evening (Saturday 3rd May) from 7-9pm and tomorrow (Sunday 4th May) from 2-4pm and from 6-9pm. Removal from the funeral home on Monday morning at 11.30am, arriving for Requiem Mass at 12.00 noon in St. Joseph’s church, Meigh. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Our Lady Queen of Knock and St. Moninna pray for him.

Very deeply regretted by his loving daughters, grandchildren, sisters Brigid and Rosie, brothers Michael and Malachy and the extended family circle.

May he rest in peace.
