KELLY Dessie, October 9 2026, (former teacher, St Columb’s College), beloved husband of Sarah, loving father of Catherine, Martin and John, devoted grandfather of Sarah, Hannah, Rory, Alice, Aoife and Evie, father-in-law of Ivan, Niamh and Katie and dear brother of Margaret and the late Maura and Ann.

Dessie will be reposing in his home, 14 Belmont Park on Sunday from 12 – 9 pm. Funeral from there on Monday at 9.30 am for 10 o’clock Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church Pennyburn. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if wished to Foyle Foodbank, Unit 15 Apex Living Centre, Springtown.
