Date of Death: Friday 23rd May 2025

The family of the late James Kelly (son of Sarah and the late Seamus Kelly), wish to express our appreciation and heartfelt thanks for all your kind thoughts and expressions of sympathy on the death of James a beloved son, brother, uncle, brother-law and friend.
Thank you to our extended families, friends and neighbours. Heartfelt thanks to those to those who called at the wake, for helping to provide tea and refreshments, and to Mahoney’s Mellon Country Inn who gifted refreshments, those who attended the funeral, sent messages of condolence and provided emotional and practical support at a very sad time for our family. We would like to express our deep appreciation to Fr Gallagher (Fivemiletown) who attended James on Friday evening 23rd May, Fr Carville (Ballymacnab) who prayed with the family in Loane House, South Tyrone Hospital; Fr McKenna (Scotshouse) for celebrating the funeral mass and Canon McGahan for his pastoral support throughout. A very special thank you to Dominic & Phelim of Muldoon & Sons Funeral Directors for their care and compassion throughout this time and the gravediggers. A special word of thanks to the Sacristan, and Eucharistic Ministers. Thank you to Louise Treanor and friends of Paul for the beautiful music. Also, a special thank you to Fivemiletown Golf Club for the refreshments after the funeral.
We would like to thank in a very special way the staff of Loane House, South Tyrone Hospital for their ongoing care for our mum at this time and during the time of James’ s wake and facilitating part of it and to Brenda who accompanied mum to the funeral and Michael Kelly Armagh for transport.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as an expression of our deep gratitude and sincere appreciation. Whatever you did to console our hearts we thank you so much for whatever part.
Though we need to weep your loss,
You dwell in that safe place in our hearts,
Where no storm or night or pain can reach you. (John O’Donohue)
