The family of the late Carita Kerr would like to express their sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with them on their recent loss of a wonderful mother and grandmother.

Thank you to all the paramedics and doctors and nursing staff at Altnagelvin Hospital who cared for Carita after her fall.

Thank you to everyone that called to our home, sent mass cards, messages, helped out at the wake and all who attended the funeral.

Thank you to Carr Family funeral directors for the caring and dignified way in which they carried out our mother’s funeral arrangements.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our heartfelt gratitude.

Carita’s month’s mind will be on Sunday 3rd November at 7pm Mass in St Eugene’s Cathedral Derry.

KERR (nee Boyle) Carita, 28th September 2024 suddenly at Altnagelvin hospital.

Beloved wife of the late John Kerr (formally of Clarendon Street) . Loving mother of James, Marie Louise and Robert. Much loved grandmother of Catherine, Rebecca, Evie-Jane, Charlie and Tom. Mother in law of Vivienne. A much loved Aunt to all her nephews and nieces.

Carita will be reposing at her home, 10 Parklands, Limavady Road from 12noon tomorrow (Monday). Funeral from her home on Wednesday at 9.15am to St Eugene’s Cathedral for Requiem mass at 10am. Interment afterwards in the city cemetery. Funeral Mass can be viewed on the link below. Family time please from 10pm until 11am.

Family flowers only, if wished donations in lieu of flowers to Ardnashee School and College. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by all her family and everyone that knew her. Sacred heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Our Lady of Knock pray for her.
