The family of the late Kevin Scallon RIP, beloved husband of Josie RIP, would like to extend sincere thanks to all who sympathised and supported us during Kevin’s illness and recent bereavement.
Thanks to Fr O’Neill and Fr Mc Anenly and many other priests who give Kevin spiritual support in recent years. To Fr Mc Anenly for his spiritual direction during the wake and for the very personal funeral mass.
Thanks to FMC undertakers for carrying out the funeral in a very dignified manner and for their support and guidance throughout.
To Sacristan Colette, Altar Servers, Musicians, Grave Diggers and Charm Inn sincere thanks.
Heartfelt thanks to neighbours, friends and everyone who helped out at the wake and funeral.
Words cannot express our deep gratitude to Helena, Teresa and all the staff in Rivervale Care Home who provided a home for Kevin over the past 2 years and their professional and loving care and friendship ensured Kevin and all the family and friends were made welcome.
A special thank you to Kevin’s close friends who kept him company over many years and particularly during his time in Rivervale.
It is impossible to thank everyone individually and we trust that this acknowledgement will express our sincere appreciation and gratitude to you all.
Kevin’s Months Mind and Josie’s 1st Anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Monday 17th June at 7.30pm in St. Colmcilles, Carrickmore

Husband of the late Josie, RIP. Father of Gary, Kerry (Boyd), Brian and Shane. Brother of Gerald, Rosemary (McNeill) and Anna (Logan). Grandfather to Eabha, Neambh and Enya Sheridan and Ethan and Emily Boyd.
Father in law of Kellie Sheridan, James Boyd, and Lorraine Sheridan. Brother in law of Eamon McNeill and John Logan.
Remains reposing in his late residence 128 Tullyneil Rd, Mullaslin from 7.30pm on Wednesday 8th May until removal to St. Colmcille’s Church, Carrickmore at 10.15am for 11am Requiem Mass on Friday 10th May . Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
Deeply regretted by his sorrowing sons, daughter, son in law, daughters in law, brother, sisters, brothers in law, grandchildren, nieces and extended family circle.
