Jeremy KILPATRICK

Jeremy Kilpatrick 1950 – 2024
The family of Jeremy would like to express their sincere thanks for all the support and comfort received since the death of our amazing brother.
Jeremy attended Southwell Special School in his early years, then moving to the lovely purpose-built premises at Knockevin Special School, progressing at the age of 16 to Mountview Adult Centre which continued to provide education and training skills for life. In 2004 after the death of our mother,
Jeremy was most fortunate to move into Rathdree managed by the wonderful Down Residential Project, with such dedicated staff – this was his home in which he was so happy for almost 18 years. Jeremy throughout this time had a wonderful life being involved in home skills etc, and activities included line dancing, bocci, golf, country music (Line dancing), trips to Liverpool, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Graceland’s – Elvis, cruise ship to Spain and horse riding.
He was also involved in Irish Special Olympics and was delighted to win a Gold Medal.
Jeremy touched many lives and will fondly be remembered in the local community.
We would like to extend our thanks to everyone for their cards, messages of support, attending Jeremy’s Funeral Service and donating to Riding for The Disabled, in his memory.
We are most grateful to Lynda Quinn, Sabrina Cooke, Billy Fyffe and Charles Rourke & Sons Funeral Directors for the manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out.
