LAIRD Derek, 7th November 2024, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital surrounded by his loving family, beloved husband of Gayle, 61 St Canice’s Park, Eglinton, loving father of Paul, Kym, Iain, Lisa, Aimee and Sarah, cherished son of Annie and the late Ivan, a devoted grandfather and dear brother of Stephanie and Jacqueline.

His remains will be reposing in his home from 6 pm on Saturday. Funeral from there on Monday at 2.30 pm for 3 o’clock funeral service in Faughanvale Presbyterian Church, Eglinton. A private cremation will take place in Antrim and Newtownabbey Crematorium at a later date. Family time please from 10 pm to 11 am.

The family request that anyone attending the funeral wear colour and not black as this is a celebration of Derek’s life.
