We the family of the late Margaret Laird wish to express our sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with us during our bereavement. To all who called to the wake, attended the funeral, brought mass cards, sent messages on social media, we are thankful and appreciate them all. We wish to thank Dr Herron who looked after mummy down throughout the years with great care. To all the staff in Sanville Nursing home we appreciate and are thankful for the way mummy was cared for by each and every staff member. We would like to mention the carers that looked after mummy at home and who became dear friends to her. Also thank you to the health care professionals who looked after mummy in 2 North Craigavon Area Hospital on her final days.
We wish to thank Fr O’Neill and Deacon Kevin Duffy for the celebration of mummy’s requiem mass. We also thank Ellie O’Neill for her beautiful singing. To Patsy and Edel at Taggart Funeral Services, thank you for the professional and dignified manner in which you carried out mummy’s funeral. We also thank the grave digger Gary Harte for preparing her final resting place. Thank you to the Gables Restaurant for the lovely meal served after the funeral mass.

Mummy’s month mind Mass will be on Friday 14th February at 7.30pm in St Marys and St Josephs Church Brackaville.

Margaret R.I.P. Wife of Gerard, mother of Imelda (Noel), Jayne (Ciaran), Declan (Kathleen), Christine (Connor). Sister of Bernadette, Kate, Joan, Phyllis, Ignatius, John, Francis and the late Mary, Anne, Agnes, Creina and Fergus. R.I.P. Devoted grandmother and great grandmother.

Margaret will repose at her daughter’s home, 4 Flo Road, Kildress BT80 9HZ. Wake will commence Tuesday from 1.00pm-9.00pm and Wednesday from 11.00am until removal. Removal on Wednesday to St Mary’s and St Joseph’s Church, Brackaville for 5.00pm for overnight repose.

Requiem Mass on Thursday at 10.00am, interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Very deeply regretted by the extended Laird and O’Farrell family circle and friends. St Joseph pray for her. Family flowers only please.
