The death has occurred of the late Evelyn Land (née McLaughlin), June 12 2026, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, (late of 32 Burnside Manor, Killea and formerly of Carlisle Road), beloved wife of Douglas, loving mother of Carlos and the late baby Paul, dear mother-in-law to Becky, devoted grandmother of Ellen and Alice, dear and loving daughter of the late Patrick and Ellen, cherished sister of the late Rev. Fr. Frank, Maureen, Billy, Danny, Rosaleen, Peter, Celine and Tony and a caring aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the wider family circle.

Evelyn will be reposing at Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Home on Monday, June 15 from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. Removal then leaving there to St. Columba’s Church, Longtower to repose overnight with Requiem Mass on Tuesday, June 16 at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for her.
