Date of Death: Thursday 3rd April 2025

The family of the late Brian (Bernard) Lavery would like to sincerely thank everyone who sympathised with kindness to the family in their recent bereavement.
A special word of thanks to our relatives, friends and neighbours whose support was very much appreciated. We thank those who sent messages, cards, flowers, food and to everyone who kindly visited. We also thank those who attended the funeral, and to Father Emmanuel for his compassionate service. Thanks to Cathy Kelly for making the service so meaningful with her beautiful singing. To all those who travelled from afar to be with us we are truly grateful.
We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the staff of Ward 1 South at Craigavon hospital. The professionalism, compassion and unwavering support that was shown by all staff during Brian’s time in hospital was very much comforting to us all. The gentleness and kind way in which Dad/Grandad was cared for was impeccable until the very end. We will never forget their dedication and empathy. Thank you for making his final days so peaceful and dignified.
We would also like to sincerely thank JJ McArdle and Sons for their professional manner in which they carried out the funeral thanks for your guidance and assistance.
Brian’s months mind mass will take place on Saturday 3rd May at 10am in St Patrick’s Cathedral.
