LAWELL (née Patterson) Philomena. Died peacefully at 80 years of age, just a few hours before her 81st birthday, 25th September 2026 surrounded by her loving family at Lough side Care Home. Beloved wife of John, devoted mother to her sons, John, Francis, Conor, Declan, Martin, Aidan and Eamonn. Dearly missed by her grandchildren and extended family.

Philomena will be reposing at her late home Archvale Drive, Newtownabbey until Monday 28th September when her remains will be removed to St Bernard’s Church, Glengormley for arrival at 6.00pm.

Anyone wishing to pay their respects are welcome to call on Sunday between the hours of 2.00pm to 7.00pm

Requiem Mass will be on Tuesday 29th September 2026 at 11.00am, followed by burial at Belmont Cemetery.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu is so desired can be made payable to Dementia NI c/o O’Kanes Funeral Directors. St Anthony pray for her.
