Ann Camillus LOGUE (née Young)
The family of the late Ann Camillus Logue R.I.P., wish to express their heartfelt thanks for all the support, help and generosity we received following the death of a much loved wife, mother, granny, mother-in-law and sister.
We appreciate and thank all those who called at her home, telephoned, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, offered up prayers, sent personal letters, messages, floral tributes, paid tribute on social media, brought gifts, or who, by any means, offered their condolences and helped support us in any way.
Thank you to the numerous relatives, friends, neighbours, and wider community who gathered outside her home and the church and lined the route of the funeral cortege to pay their respects. Thank you to all those who attended the Requiem Mass or joined us via the church webcam. This provided immense comfort to us as a family, and we thank you sincerely and appreciate the efforts made to comply with current covid restrictions.
Thank you to all the staff in Maghera Medical Centre especially Dr McNeill and Dr K. Monaghan who provided care and support to Camillus during her last few hours of life.
Thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of Royal Victoria Hospital and Mid Ulster Hospital, in particular Dr Ernie Hunter.
We thank Fr. Paddy Doherty, Fr Kieran O’Doherty and Fr Patrick Lagan for the beautifully personal and poignant Requiem Mass which came at the end of a long tough few days of grief and sadness in Glen Parish and Maghera Community. We remember all those families in our prayers.
Thank you to Michael Mawhinney for the beautiful singing and to the Church sacristan Sally McKeown for preparing the Church and to the gravediggers who prepared Camillus’s resting place.
Our gratitude is also extended to Michael and Nicholas Gormley, J. A. Gormley Funeral Directors, Maghera for the professional, compassionate, and dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our heartfelt appreciation and thanks to all. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
