It is with great sadness that the family of Ada Lorenc would like to inform all who knew her of her recent death.

Whilst Ada died after a short illness in Altnagelvin Hospital, she had continued to live in her own family home for many years, thanks to the support and care of many dedicated carers and healthcare staff. The family are extremely grateful to them all for this.

Ada lived a very long life and never stopped being the head of the family to all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Family members felt privileged to be able to stay with her round the clock during her last days.

In keeping with her wishes Ada had a small family funeral at home on 16th July. This was sensitively led by Sam Hanna, an Independent Celebrant and professionally arranged by John Keys of Adair and Neely Funeral Directors.

Thank you to all who have expressed their sympathy and condolences. The family is very grateful for this support.
