The family of the late Anthony Loughran (R.I.P) would like to thank all of those who helped support Dad and the family during his short illness.
Sincere thanks to everyone who sent messages of prayer and sympathy, sent Mass Offerings, called at our home or attended Dad’s Wake or Funeral, sent floral tributes and made a donation to Life and Time.
To the doctors and staff from Clanrye Medical Practice, Palliative Care Craigavon, the medical teams from Acute Care at Home Newry, District Nurses Warrenpoint Surgery and Life and Time, Rostrevor. We are deeply grateful for your dedication and kindness, for the medical care and emotional support shown to Dad and the family during his last few days.
Thank you to Monsignor Hugh Connolly for his Spiritual support and comfort while he attended Dad at home and the beautiful Requiem Mass. Thanks also to St. Mary’s GAA Club, in particular to the Burren U16s boys and to WBR Credit Union for their respectful Guards of Honour.
Thank you to Catherine Keenan and the Choir for the thought given to their touching musical reflection during the Mass.
A special thanks to McAnulty Funeral Directors for their guidance and professionalism in conducting the Funeral arrangements and for the dignity and respect shown to Dad.

Dad’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 29th December at St. Mary’s Parish Church, Burren at 10:00am. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intention of all. Let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace.

LOUGHRAN Anthony, 28th November 2024 peacefully at home, 75 Carrogs Road, Burren. Anthony beloved husband of the late Kathleen, loving father of Gerard, Paul, Colin, Neal, Keith and the late Ronan, father-in-law of Nichola, Patricia, Leona and Georgina, a devoted grandfather and much-loved brother of Christopher, Rita and the late Oliver, Seamus and Michael. May his soul rest in peace.

Anthony’s remains will repose at McAnulty’s Funeral Home, 35 Church Street, Warrenpoint on Thursday from 7pm – 9pm and on Friday from 2pm – 4pm and 7pm – 9pm. House private please.

Removal on Saturday at 10am arriving at St. Mary’s Church, Burren for 10.30am Requiem Mass (churchmedia.tv) followed by interment in adjoining Cemetery.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, extended family circle and friends.
