Date of Death: Thursday 11th November 2021

The family of the late John Lynch of 15 Altinure Cottages Park wish to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us all at the time of our sad loss.

John had been a much-loved husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend.

We wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us during our recent sad bereavement.

We want to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way, those who sent mass and sympathy cards, private messages, donations to Dementia NI, those who lined the funeral route or joined us by webcam.
Sincere thanks to all our family members, relatives, friends, and neighbours who helped in so many ways.

A special word of thanks to Fr Micheál McGavigan for his spiritual support to John and his family while John was at home and more recently during his time in Cornfield Nursing Home. For administering the last rights to John and for the meaningful, personal and memorable requiem mass.
Thanks also to McLaughlin Funeral Directors for all their support and the dignified, professional way all the funeral arrangements were carried out.

We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank the local caring staff who helped care for John prior to his admission to Cornfield Nursing Home. A special thanks is also extended to the management, nursing and caring staff of Castle Lane in Cornfield Nursing home who looked after John diligently, professionally and with dignity, kindness and respect during his time in Castle Lane. As a family we will never forget the help and exceptional care given by all.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

John’s month’s mind mass will be celebrated in St Mary’s Church, Altinure, Park on Saturday 11th December at 5:30pm.
