MacFARLAND David, peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital on May 12 2026. Late of Burt, Co. Donegal and formerly of Munich, Germany. May he rest in peace. Beloved father of Aileen and Grainne. Loving Opi of Olivia. Precious son of the late Moore and Moya. A much loved brother of Jim, Moore, Magdalene, Veronica, Marian, Gerard, Jack and the late Mary, Joe and Baby Eileen. Dearest grandson of the late Nellie. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle and friends both in Ireland and Germany.

David’s remains will be reposing at his sister, Marian’s home, 14 Slievemore Park from 6pm this evening, Wednesday, May 13. Funeral leaving from there on Friday, May 15 at 9:15am for 10am Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan. A cremation service will take place afterwards at 2pm in Lakeland’s Crematorium, Co. Cavan.
