The family of the late Vera Madine wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement.
Special thanks to Fr. Brendan Smyth for Requiem Mass and Matthew Campbell for the beautiful music.
Thanks to family, friends and neighbours who sent Mass, sympathy cards, paid their respects along the route to the Church, attended the funeral or helped in any way during this difficult time. Thanks to those who made a donation to Dementia NI in memory of Vera.
Sincere thanks to Charles Rourke and Sons Funeral Directors for the professional, compassionate and dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out.
Vera’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in Holy Family Church, Teconnaught on Saturday 11th December at 7pm
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as an expression of our deepest thanks and appreciation.

MADINE (née Brennan) Veronica (Vera) Died on 12th November 2021. Peacefully at Oakridge Nursing Home. Late of Rain, Annacloy.
Dearly beloved wife of Arthur and much loved mother of Paddy, Geraldine and Martin, dear mother-in-law of Jacqueline and Martina and loving grandmother of Sinead, Niamh, Patrick, James and John. May she rest in peace.
Funeral from her late home on Monday 15th November at 11.30am to Holy Family Church, Teconnaught for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Social distancing guidelines to be adhered to.
Family flowers only please, donations may be made in lieu if desired to Dementia NI c/o Charles Rourke & Sons Funeral Directors, 51 Church Street, Downpatrick, BT30 6EH.
Very deeply regretted and will be lovingly remembered by her sorrowing family and friends.
