MAGOWAN, William James passed away on October 27th 2021, peacefully, at home.
Dearly loved husband of Irene, much loved dad of Raymond and Colin, father-in-law of Agnes and Glynis, proud grandfather of Lynne and Clare, Neil and wife Courtney and David and wife Michelle and great-grandfather of Mollie, Max, Maisie and Jamie.
A Service of Thanksgiving for his life will be held in Mourne Presbyterian Church, Kilkeel at 11.30am on Wednesday 3rd November and arriving for burial in Comber Cemetery at approximately 3pm. Due to government COVID restrictions, places are limited to family and close friends only. All those intending to come must indicate their intentions by emailing raymond@ themagowans.uk by Monday at the latest. The family request that face masks be worn throughout the service.
Family flowers only please. Donations in memory, if desired, to Faith Mission or Child Evangelism Fellowship. Cheques made payable to Gilmore Funeral Directors Ltd, 13 The Square, Comber BT23 5DX.
Sadly missed by the entire family circle but comforted in the knowledge that Jim is now “with Christ, which is better by far”. Philippians 1:23.
