Malachy CLARKE

Date of Death: Monday 6th April 2026 Town: Galbally

The family of the late Malachy Clarke wish to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported them during their recent sad bereavement. We would like to thank our friends, family, and all those who sympathised with us, sent Mass cards and sympathy cards, or gave donations to St John’s Hospice. Our grateful thanks go to the private and Trust carers, the District Nursing team, Dr McKay and the staff at Ardmore Medical Practice, and the wider Oncology team for their dedicated support over the past few months.

A special thanks to the staff at St John’s Hospice, Newry, for the care provided during his last two weeks. Thanks also to Kate McAleer for her professional guidance with the funeral arrangements; Fr Slater, Fr Donaghy, and the Eucharistic Ministers for the Requiem Mass and their prayers; Caoimhe Loughran for her beautiful singing during the service; and the gravediggers for their assistance.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, can be made online at:
