1st Anniversary notice of Margaret Sherry.

While the grief is still fresh in our hearts, on your first death anniversary, we hope and pray that you are in a better place now. Not a day has passed since that we haven’t remembered you, Margaret. You were an integral part of our lives and shall always remain so. Missed dearly by your loving husband Peter, daughter Joanne, sons Niall & Feargal and all family and friends.

Margaret’s 1st Anniversary mass will take place in St Patrick’s Church Dungannon on Monday 16th December at 7.30pm. All family and friends welcome to attend.

We can’t believe it’s been a year and we just wanted to say that you’re still in our thoughts and we’re always talking about how we miss you.

Family Acknowledgment & month’s mind Mass arrangements.

We, the family of the late Margaret Sherry wish to extend our profound gratitude to all those who offered sympathy and support to us during our recent sad bereavement.

To all who attended the wake and funeral, sent mass or sympathy cards, brought gifts of food, telephoned or posted their condolences online, we are very grateful. A special word of thanks to Mum’s great friend Frances Hughes. We thank all our relatives and friends for their help during the wake.

To Dr. O’Donnell and the medical team of Coalisland Medical Centre, District Nurses and all mum’s carers, in Askbrook care home & Willowgrove Care home, we thank you for all the care and attention she received throughout her illness. Also the Order of Malta who assisted in getting Dad to the funeral.

A special word of thanks to Dean Donaghy for his support and celebrating Mum’s Requiem Mass. To all who participated in the Liturgy, prayers of the faithful. offertory procession, we thank you. We especially thank Grainne Maxwell & Emma Connolly for the beautiful singing. Thanks to the Gables staff for the refreshments after the funeral.

Finally Kate (McAleer Bros Funeral Directors) for her help and support and for undertaking the funeral and gravedigging arrangements with such dignity and professionalism, also the cemetery staff for preparing Mum’s final resting place.

We trust this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation to all who assisted us in any way during this difficult time may our Mummy / Wife rest in peace.

SHERRY (Dungannon) 16th December 2023, peacefully in Ashbrooke Care Home surrounded by her loving family, Margaret (née Hughes). Beloved wife of Peter, cherished mother to Joanne, Niall and Feargal and mother-in-law to Nora and Eugene.  Doting grandmother to Rachel, Peter, Grace, Matthew, Ferdia, Darren, Leon and great-grandmother to Teddy.  Much loved sister of Liam and the late Anne RIP and sister-in-law of Brenda.

Margaret will be reposing at home from 6pm Sunday evening, 10 Drumglass Way BT71 4AG until removal Tuesday for 12 noon Requiem Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, interment afterwards in Carland Road Cemetery.

House private before 10am Monday and after 9pm please.

Our Lady pray for her.

Deeply loved and missed by her sorrowing daughter, sons, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchild, brother, entire family circle, neighbours and friends.
