Martin McGeough
Their light shines on
Our loved ones leave behind a light, that will never dim or fade
It’s kept bright by the love we feel and the memories we made.
It can warm us like a candle’s glow and help bring comfort too.
And no matter where you go, you’ll find, it’s always close to you.
Martin’s first anniversary will be observed on Sunday May 7th at 10:30am in St. John’s Church, Slatequarry.
We, the family of the late Martin wish to express our sincere thanks to all who sympathised with us in our recent sad bereavement.
Thanks to our extended family, neighbours and friends who gave so generously of their time; to those who telephoned, sent messages, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, sent floral tributes, brought food to our home, helped at the wake, helped with organising traffic throughout the wake and to everyone who attended the wake and funeral.
Our heartfelt thanks to Father David Moore PP Pomeroy for his support and guidance and sincere gratitude to Father Brian Slater CC and Deacon Eamon Quinn, Cookstown, for the beautiful and poignant Funeral Mass. Thanks to the Sacristan, the readers and the Eucharistic Minister, to Gerard Carroll for the beautiful music, Jody Neville for providing the marquee and Stephen Mallon for the beautiful flowers.
Sincere thanks to the grave diggers and to Kate McAleer & Co. Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
Thanks to the committee of Slatequarry Community Centre for the use of the hall and to Fairhill Diner for the lovely food provided after the funeral.
A special thanks to the Doctors and Staff of Loy Medical Centre, Cookstown, the District Nurses, MacMillan Nurses and Marie Curie Nurses. Special thanks to Joan McCrory and all the Staff at Cookstown Community Mental Health Team for all their help and support given to Martin down through the years. Thanks to McAleer Medical Hall, Pomeroy and Falls Pharmacy, Cookstown.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our heartfelt appreciation.
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
