“We do not have to rely on memories to recapture the spirit of those we have loved and lost – they live within our souls in some perfect sanctuary which even death cannot destroy.”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We, the family of the late Mary Hurson wish to thank most sincerely all who sympathised with us on our recent bereavement of our dearly beloved mother, granny and great-granny.
Our heartfelt thanks to all those who made it possible for mummy to be cared for in her own home over the past few years.  We will never forget the compassion, kindness and dignity which you all showed our mother along with Maureen, her special neighbour and friend. We especially like to thank Elaine and her team of district nursing staff in Cookstown for their care and support.
Special thanks also to Dr. Vernon, Dr. McKay and all the staff of Ardmore Medical Practice who were always there when we needed them. We owe a debt of gratitude to Ursula for her advice, help and guidance throughout mummy’s final years.
We will be eternally grateful to Fr. David Moore who attended to mummy’s spiritual needs and who gave us, as a family, great comfort with his kind words and very fitting homily.  It was a true reflection of our dear mother and the dignified lady that she was.
We were privileged to have Malachí, Rory, Cathal and Stephen with their very touching singing and music.
Special thanks to Kate McAleer Funeral Director and her assistant for the attentive, dignified and professional way in which she carried out the wake and funeral arrangements and for the support given to our family.
Thanks also to Maria Corrigan and her staff for providing the delicious meal following the funeral and to the Cavanakeeran Community Centre for their wonderful facilities.
We sincerely thanks all those who attended the wake and funeral, sent food, mass cards, flowers and messages of sympathy and all who helped out in any way.
Given that it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our deep appreciation.
Our mother’s months mind mass will take place on Friday 10th March at 7:30pm  in The Church of the Assumption, Pomeroy.
