Mary QUINN (née Flanagan)
The husband, daughters, sons and in-laws of the late Mary Quinn wish to express their deepest gratitude and heartfelt thanks to the many kind people who supported Mary throughout the years of her illness. This includes: Rev Fr. Kevin McElhennon and Rev Fr. Declan McGeehan who regularly called to pray with Mary; the staff of the Three Spires Surgery, particularly the professional care provided by Dr. Olivia Ramsey; Dr. Hodkinson; Martina Donaghy and her District Nursing team; the various community care staff, particularly Caroline, Clodagh, Ashleigh and Lorraine, who individually displayed the true meaning of care and compassion; Patrick and the staff at Slevin’s Chemist; the Parkinson’s Omagh Branch; Aine O’Connor; the wonderful neighbours and friends on St. Mary’s Rd and within the local community who provided so much support to the family, particularly Tess Kelly, Marian Mallon, Dot Bradley, Mary McGoldrick and Clare Harkin.
The family also want to express their deepest gratitude and thanks to everyone who called at the family home to pass their condolences and to those who attended Mary’s funeral mass. To those who sent sympathy cards, mass cards, letters, made phone calls and donations, the family are forever grateful.
Many thanks to those who assisted with the arrangements during the course of the wake and funeral, including making and serving food and refreshments and ensuring people got to and from the family home. This includes: relatives of the extended Quinn and Flanagan families, Noel Sweeney and his local team of assistants from Killyclogher GAC; Barry and Pat O’Connor; the neighbours on St Mary’s Rd; the Cappagh Parish Office, the Parish Centre; the grave diggers; Farley’s Bar Beragh; Peter McBride – Spar; The Cunningham family – Strathroy Dairies; Mickey McCartan – Pizzamac; Fehin for designing and printing the funeral mass booklets, Andrea Begley for the beautiful music and singing during the funeral mass and Kate McAleer from McAleer Funeral Directors Pomeroy, who was most professional and dignified in undertaking all the funeral arrangements.
Finally, the family wish to thank Rev Fr Kevin McElhennon and Mon. Barney McAleer for celebrating the funeral mass with such reverence, sensitivity and compassion.
The family trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation.
Mary’s month mind mass will be celebrated on Saturday 11th May at 10:00, St. Mary’s Church Killyclogher.

Quinn (Killyclogher) 12th April 2024 Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family, Mary (née Flanagan) beloved wife of Paddy (Packie) cherished mother to Geraldine (Mullin), Roisin (Cobane), Pauric, Colin, Feilim and Fehin and mother-in-law to Mickey, Davy, Catherine, Paula, Grainne, and Joyclyn. Doting granny to Briana, Michael, Lisa, Maeve, Ami, Connor, Mark, Ronan, Laura, Rory, Eve, Cara, Kerry, Erynne, and Alfie and Great-grandmother to Coby and Lucy.
Mary is reposing at home 14 St. Mary’s Road BT79 7JX until removal Monday morning for 12 noon Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Mary’s family have respectively requested that their home remain private before 11am and after 10pm Saturday and Sunday and for privacy on Monday morning as well please.
Deeply loved and missed by her sorrowing husband, daughters, sons, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, entire family circle, neighbours and friends.
There will be a bus service provided from the parish centre to the house, please avail of the bus service to reduce congestion on the road.
