MATTHEWS Nicola – R.I.P. Banbridge and formerly Newry. 10th November 2024, peacefully at home, surrounded by family and close friends. Beloved mother of Simon, Eugene and Eoin, nanny to Amelia, Brianna, Rosie and Carter, dear sister of Donna, Colleen and Valerie, daughter of the late Val and Lilian Matthews, a loving friend to Mary and a much loved auntie to her nephews and nieces.

Nicola’s remains will repose in Mc Gennity’s Funeral Home, 18 Forkhill Road, Newry BT35 8LZ tomorrow (Tuesday 12th November) from 2pm until 4pm and from 6pm until 9pm. Removal from the funeral home on Wednesday morning at 12.00 noon arriving for Requiem Mass at 12.30pm in St. Catherine’s Dominican church, Newry. Those attending the funeral mass are requested to wear bright colours in celebration of Nicola’s life. A private cremation service will take place at a later date. Our Lady Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
