Mass will be celebrated in The Church of the Assumption, Pomeroy at 7:30pm Tuesday June 6th.

We the family of the late Mary MC Cann (RIP), her sister Ellen, her brother John, all of May’s nieces and nephews and the extended Simpson and Mc Cann families, would like to express our heartfelt appreciation and thanks to everyone who sympathised with us on our recent bereavement.
We would like to thank everyone who called to pass their respects, sent mass and sympathy cards, private messages online, via social media and to those who attended the mass via webcam.
To Pomeroy Community Centre for their help with chairs and equipment and to everyone who sent food and refreshments and helped out during the wake.
We would like to thank the owners and staff Of Rivervale Nursing Home, the staff at Carrickmore Health Centre, The Hospital Diversion Nursing Team, Community District Nurses and to everyone who helped to care for May.
A special thank you to Father Moore for celebrating mass and to Gerard Loughran for the beautiful singing and music.
We wish to show our gratitude to Kate Mc Aleer Funeral Directors for their professionalism, guidance and care throughout. The grave diggers for preparing her final resting place, and to the staff of the Rusty Keg for their catering services following the funeral.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a small gesture of our sincere appreciation.

McCann (Pomeroy) 5th June 2022, peacefully at Rivervale Country Care Home, May (née Simpson) beloved wife of the late Peter RIP and cherished daughter of the late William and Isobella RIP. Much loved sister of John, Ellen and the late Philomena, William and Ena RIP. Adored by her nieces and nephews.

May is reposing at her sister Ellen’s home, 18 Keeragh BT70 2QZ until removal tomorrow evening (Monday) to be received in The Church of the Assumption for 6pm. Requiem mass will take place on Tuesday at 11am, interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Our Lady pray for her.

Very deeply regretted by her sorrowing brother, sister, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, entire family circle neighbours and friends.
