McALERNON Seán, (Lurgan), August 5, 2026 peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Seán, dearly beloved husband of the late Bridie and a loving father of Chelline (Michael), Seán (Caroline) and Edel, cherished grandfather of Nicole, Declan, Jack, Ciaran, Logan, Grace and Jaxson, and great grandchildren Éirinn and Callan.

Loving son of the late Gerry and Doreen McAlernon, formerly of Kilwilke Road, and brother of Gerard, Dorothy, Connor, and the late Marie and Karen, a dear brother-in-law and uncle to all his nieces and nephews.

Seán will repose at his daughter Chelline’s residence, 55 Belvedere Manor, BT67 9NN tomorrow (Thursday) from 10.00am and all day Friday, where family and friends are welcome to call and pay their respects.

Funeral from his daughter’s residence on Saturday at 9.00am to St. Peter’s Church, Lurgan, where Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 9.30am, followed by burial in St.Colman’s Cemetery.

Saint Padre Pio pray for him.
