McALINDEN Donal died on October 14th 2021, peacefully at home with his loving family. Late of ‘Seapoint’, Rostrevor, Co Down.

Donal, dearly beloved husband of Margaret and loving father of Cathy, Aine, Barry and Tracey. Dear brother of Grainne, Eithne, Michael, Siobhan, Oonagh and the late Deirdre. R.I.P.

House Private except for close family and friends.

Donal will leave his late residence at 12.30pm on Sunday October 17th for 1pm Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Rostrevor. Burial afterwards in St Colman’s Cemetery, Massforth, Kilkeel.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu if desired to Parkinson’s UK, c/o N Doran Funeral Directors.

Deeply regretted by the entire family circle.

Donal was my first cousin. One year older than me. I didn't know him well, except for childhood memories when we were back at my father's home place for holidays. We met again in 2014 and more recently in 20019. I liked him. I loved him. Donal was a lovely, thoughtful man. It was truly a pleasure to have gotten to know him after so many years of distance. I'm shocked and deeply saddened by his passing, and know he will be missed by his family and friends. Tom and I offer our heartfelt condolences and sympathy to all the family. R.I.P.
