McALINDEN Eleanor Bernadette (Eileen). Late of Windsor Hill, Newry and Wellington Square, Belfast. Passed away 21 July 2025.

Beloved wife of the late Jack, loving mother of Darroll, Gavan, Jacqueline, Barry and Paula. Loving mother-in-law of Una (Daly), Elinor (McCartney), Nicholas Hammersley, Artemis Manias and Mark Griffiths. Loving grandmother of Ciara, Orla, Jack, Tom, Ellie, Ben, Lucy, Max, James, Naoki, Aoife and Oisín.

Eileen will be reposing at her son’s residence, 12, Saint Jude’s Avenue, Belfast on Friday 25 July from 3pm to 9pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday 26 July at 10am in the Church of the Good Shepherd, Ormeau Road, Belfast, followed by family burial in Monkshill Cemetery, Newry.

Deeply regretted by her entire family circle. Family flowers only please – donations in lieu, if so desired to Alzheimer’s Society c/o O’Kanes Funeral Home.
