Ann McALISTER (née Kelly)

We, the family of the late Ann McAlister, wish to express our sincere gratitude to all our family and friends who sympathized with us on our recent sad bereavement of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt and friend. We will always remember the kindness and support shown to us at this time.
We wish to thank all the health care professionals for the compassionate care in which Ann received. Thanks to Dr Forde and all the staff at Park Medical, the Acute Care at Home Team, Edel and all the staff at Medicare, Racecourse Road, her care givers Sabrina, Siobhan, Charmaine, Ingrid, Catherine, Roisin and Grainne.
Thanks to those who sent mass cards and sympathy cards and online messages to convey their kind and meaningful words. Furthermore, a huge thank you for the beautiful flowers sent by many.
To all those who participated in the funeral mass, thank you for making it so meaningful, we are very grateful. A special thanks to Father McDevitt who officiated the beautiful mass and to Fidelma for the beautiful singing.
To those who provided refreshments and support at the wake and funeral, gave their free time and comforted us throughout, we are so grateful for your generosity and kindness.
To our neighbours at Ardnamoyle Park, we thank you for your continued support.
Finally, we wish to thank all at WJ O’Brien Funeral Directors for their expert guidance, professionalism and respect throughout.
A Months mind mass in memory of Ann will be celebrated in Our Lady of Lourdes Chapel, Steelstown on Saturday 1st February 2025 at 6.30pm.

McALISTER (née Kelly) Ann, 1st January 2025 peacefully at her home, beloved wife of Jack, 66 Ardnamoyle Park, Shantallow, loving mother of Ciara (McElhinney), Ann (Kennedy), John, Paul, Martin and Maureen (Fitzmaurice), mother-in-law of Robert, Annika, Sineád, Kris and Terri, devoted grandmother of Jane, Emma, Carter, Kate, Albert, Fiona, Jack, Martin, Shay and Freya, daughter of the late Martin and Maureen Kelly and dear sister of Margaret (McNeill) , Desmond and the late Maura (Gallagher).
Her remains will be reposing in her home from 6 pm on Wednesday. Funeral from there on Friday at 10.30 am for 11 o’clock Requiem Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Steelstown. Interment afterwards in the City cemetery. Family time please from 10.30 pm to 11 am. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
