McALLISTER Walter (Alex) Passed away peacefully on the 26th of January 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Much loved husband of Helen, devoted dad of Helen, Mandy, Debbie and Chris, cherished granda of Amanda, Jonny, Gary, Thomas, Jenny, Natalie, Whitney, Aimee and Marcus, a loving great granda.

Funeral service will be held in the family home 257 Albertbridge Road, Belfast, BT5 4PX on Thursday 1st February 2024 at 11.45 am followed by committal in Roselawn Cemetery at 1 pm.

Alex will be very sadly missed by his family and friends.

Tired and weary you made no fuss, you tried so hard to stay with us. God closed your eyes and gave you rest, for He alone knows what’s best.

At times I think I’m dreaming

I can’t believe it’s true

that I can go on living

when no longer I have you.

In tears I watched you sinking

and slowly pass away
