1st Anniversary

A whisper on a July morning
You heard a gentle call
You took the hand of Jesus
And quietly left us all.
It broke our heart to pieces
But we knew you had given us your all.

Rembered by Family and Friends

Anniversary Mass Saturday 22nd July at 11am
St Matthew’s Church, Garvaghey.

The family of the late James McAnenly wish to express our sincere thanks to all who sympathised with and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. We thank all our kind friends and neighbours, who helped in so many ways; during James illness, those who brought food, helped at the wake, funeral and all who sent Mass or Sympathy Cards, messages of support, telephoned, sent flowers, donated so generously to Marie Curie and continuing support to the family. Those who called at our home, travelled a distance, lined the route of the funeral cortege, and to Errigal Bowling Club, Mid Tyrone Bowlers, Cancer Research and Garvaghey Area Community Association who formed guards of honour.

We acknowledge with special thanks The Beragh District Nursing team, Consultants, Doctors and Nurses in SWAH, and Three Spires Surgery and the treatment room, also The Macmillan support team, Hospice community care, Marie Curie Nurses, and ONeill’s Pharmacy for their help and support. We thank Fr O’Dwyer and visiting priests for their spiritual support.

A Special word of thanks to Fr McAnenly and Fr O’Dwyer also Fr McCawille, Fathers Mark and Danny Monaghan and Fr McGahan who concelebrated the comforting requiem mass. Thanks to Noleen Neill and family for the beautiful singing and music. Thank you to all who participated in the mass helped carry up gifts, said readings, prayers of faithful, Eucharistic ministers, and The Eulogy. To Eamon McCullagh for providing outdoor sound system. To all those who attended the funeral, stood outside the church and cemetery and joined us via facebook page.

A word of thanks to Paudge Quinn for the professional and dignified manner in carrying out Funeral arrangements. Thank you also to the grave digger. To those who carried out Stewarding, during wake and funeral, and also PSNI for traffic control. Thanks to Kelly’s Inn for refreshments after the funeral.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. James’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Sunday 21st August 2022 in St Matthew’s Church, Garvaghey.
