It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Arthur McAnerney on his 50th birthday, on the 12th of August 2026. Beloved husband and best friend of Maria and adored dad of Oran, Aoibheann, Faye, Vicky, Lewis, Sebastian and Sophia. Sadly missed by his mum Catherine and siblings Nicola (Seán Óg), Patrick (Fiona), Clodagh, Paula (Ian) and Aidan (Karen), along with his loving relatives and wide circle of friends. Predeceased by his father Vincent. May He Rest in Peace

Reposing at his home (A91 YY77) on both Thursday and Friday, August 13th and 14th from 3pm-8pm. Removal on Saturday, August 15th, proceeding on foot to St. Michael’s Church, Carlingford (A91 FX76), arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.30am. After Mass, the cortège will continue on foot to St. Michael’s Cemetery for burial.
