McATAMNEY John (Lurgan), April 13, 2026 peacefully at Craigavon Area Hospital surrounded by his loving family. John, beloved husband of the late Angela, cherished father of Jacqueline, Seamus, Joanne, Gerard and the late Cathy and loving son of the late Kate and James McAtamney (Cornakinnegar Road), a much loved granda, great granda, brother and brother in law.

John will repose at McAlinden and Murtagh’s Funeral Home, 43 Ardmore Road, Lurgan BT66 6QP, on Thursday, from 5.00pm until 9.00pm, where family and friends are welcome to visit and pay their respects.

Funeral from the Funeral Home on Friday at 9.15am to St.Peter’s Church, Lurgan, where Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10.00am, followed by burial in St.Colman’s Cemetery.

Saint Padre Pio pray for him.
