McATEER Eileen (Ella) (Newry) June 28, 2026, (peacefully) at Daisy Hill Hospital, late of 8 Priory Crescent, Newry, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved mother of Barry, dear mother-in-law of Tania and devoted nanny of Cian.

Eileen’s remains will repose in McGennity’s Funeral Home, 18 Forkhill Road, Newry BT35 8LZ today (Tuesday 30th June) from 2-4pm and from 6-9pm. Removal from the funeral home on Wednesday morning (1st July) at 11.30am, arriving for Requiem Mass at 12 noon in St. Mary’s church, Chapel Street, Newry. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Our Lady Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.

Very deeply regretted by her loving son, daughter-in-law, grandson, extended family circle and friends. May she rest in peace.
