We the McCafferty family of the late Vera (Bebe) McCafferty, 83 Butlers Wharf, wish to sincerely express our gratitude and thanks to our extended family and friends. To those who provided refreshments and helped at the wake and funeral, gave their time freely, and supported us throughout, words are inadequate, but we thank you for your amazing generosity, kindness and continued support.
We wish to thank all the healthcare professionals for their attentiveness and compassionate care at all times.
Thanks to those who sent mass and sympathy cards and conveyed kind and meaningful messages online.
To all those who participated in the service, thank you for making it so meaningful, we are very grateful.
A special thanks to Father John Farren, who officiated the wonderful mass and for delivering such an eloquent and touching eulogy that captured her life. We are forever grateful for his calming presence and his continued pastoral and emotional support.
Finally, we wish to thank Willie and Kieran O’Brien Funeral Directors for their expert guidance, continued professionalism and respect throughout.
As there are no amount of words to express our gratitude and appreciation, nor to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment to each and every one of you.
Months mind mass in Memory of Vera (Bebe) will be celebrated in St Oliver Plunkett’s Church, Strathfoyle on Monday 27th January 2025 at 7.30pm.
McCAFFERTY (nee Brown) Vera (Bebe) 26th December 2024 peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved wife of Colum, 83 Butler’s Wharf, loving mother of Marian and the late Daniel and devoted grandmother of Danielle, Chloe, Craig, Dillon and Nicole.
Her remains will be reposing in her home from 6 pm on Boxing Day. Funeral from there on Saturday at 10.30 am for 11 o’clock Requiem Mass in St Oliver Plunkett’s Church, Strathfoyle. Interment afterwards in St Mary’s cemetery, Ardmore. Family time please from 9 pm to 12 noon.
