McCAFFERTY William (Willie), June 1 2026, peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved partner of Fionnuala, loving father of Sean, Kevin, Matthew and the late Martin, Christopher and baby Daniel, cherished stepfather of Dermot, Fionn, Niamh, Kevin and Davog, a devoted grandfather, dear brother of Anthony, Cathy and the late Eilish, Johnny, Martin and Daniel and a much loved brother-in-law and uncle.

Willie will be reposing in his home, 61 Hatmore Park. Funeral from there on Thursday at 9.25 am for 10 o’clock Requiem Mass in St Columba’s Church, Longtower. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Family time please from 9 pm to 11 am. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if wished, to St Vincent de Paul.
