Pat passed away on the 3rd of October, a widely respected gentleman, good neighbour and friend to many. We his friends and neighbours wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who paid their respects in any way, to those who attended when Pat’s remains were received in St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona and to all those who took part in the funeral service or who joined us via the webcam.
A special word of thanks to Father Seán Mulligan for his spiritual support and the comforting Requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who assisted with the Mass, especially the singer Ceállach Reid who provided the beautiful music.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the sensitive and dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the grave digger Tommy for preparing Pat’s final resting place.
We extend a sincere thank you to all the staff of Springlawn Nursing Home, Omagh, who cared so well for Pat during his time there.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our deepest gratitude.
Pat’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona on Saturday 6th November 2021 at 6pm and may also be viewed via the Donacavey Parish Webcam.

McCALLEN Pat died on 3rd October 2021, peacefully at Springlawn Nursing Home, Omagh. Late of Fintona, Co Tyrone formerly of 45 Carryglass Road, Fintona BT78 2LB.
Beloved son of the late James and Sarah. Pat’s remains will be received in St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona at 7pm on Monday 4th October 2021. Pat’s requiem Mass will take place at 11am on Tuesday 5th October 2021, followed by his burial in the adjoining cemetery.
In light of the Coronavirus and in the interests of health and safety within the community, social distancing will be adhered to at the funeral.
