McCANN Very Rev Fr Charles, (Lissan (Caneese) and formerly Washington D.C). Died peacefully July 5, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Son of the late Charles and Sarah R.I.P. Dear brother of Malachy (Anna-May), Desmond (Maura), Brendan, and the late Pat (Bridie), and Vera (R.I.P).

Fr Charles’ remains will repose at St Michael’s Church, Lissan from 2.00pm to 9.00pm today Saturday, and on Sunday from 11.30am until 2.00pm. Requiem Mass there at 2.00pm with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Sadly missed by his brothers, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours, friends and wider family circle. Deeply regretted by Archbishop Eamon Martin, Cardinal Sean Brady, Bishop Michael Router, the clergy of the Archdiocese of Armagh, his many Priestly friends and the parishioners of Lissan and Kildress. O Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
