Months mind Mass & Family Acknowledgement.

We the family, of the late Paul Mc Canny RIP 172 Clanabogan Rd, Omagh who passed away suddenly on the 21st August 2026, wish to express our sincere Appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who supported us in our recent sad bereavement following our loss of Paul.
Paul was a Respected, wonderful Brother, Brother-in-Law, uncle and Godfather, Great Friend and Neighbour to all.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who visited our home during and after the wake and funeral. Everyone who offered kind words of condolence in person, who also sent mass and sympathy Cards, Messages, Flowers and who supporting us during this sad time.

Special words of thanks to our families, friends, neighbours and work colleagues, who helped in so many ways, in the kitchen, brought food directed traffic, drove the shuttle bus, for their generous support kindness and Help. Special thanks also to Fergal Broderick from the Cheeky Fox for the use of his shuttle bus and Martin Colton for the use of his Yard both were greatly Appreciated.
All those that travelled from near and far to be with us.
Thanks also to KC Marquee and Longhill/Bankmore.
We also send our thanks to the Ambulance Crew, the PSNI Omagh Branch and Father Dolan for their respect and kindness.
We would also like to thank Father Damian Bresnahan for his support that he brought to our Family at this difficult time, his words during the homily and celebrating such a Beautiful, personal Funeral Mass that Truly honoured and Celebrated Paul’s love of life and passion for all that he loved and enjoyed with his many Friends and Family.
Thanks also to Marie Campbell, Louise Kirwan, Claire McArdle for there music and singing, Liam McLaughlin for his Banjo Playing, which was all meaningful to Paul.
Extend our thanks to the Sacristan’s and all those that participated in the funeral mass, to the Gravedigger Ciaran Maguire who prepared Paul’s Final resting Place, to the Daisy Chain and Helen Babs Barrett for the Lovely Flowers. To the team at Farley’s for their lovely food and Refreshments and to Drumragh Sarafields Gac for the use of their Facilities.
We extend our Heartfelt Gratitude to Sean O Kane Okane Funeral Directors for the Compassion and Care throughout.
We would like to express our Appreciation to Father McElhennon and Father Canning for attending our Family Home, who offered their Support and Prayers.
The stories and companionship shared about Paul during these Difficult days have brought great Comfort to us all.
Paul is loved, remembered and missed everyday by his family and many Friends. May his Strength and Character live on in all that had the pleasure of knowing him throughout his life.

As it is not possible to Thank everyone individually, we hope no one feels overlooked. Please know that every gesture of support whether Great or small is Greatly Appreciated.

Paul’s Month mind Mass will be Celebrated on Sunday 27th September 2026 at 10.30am at Saint Marys Church, Drumragh.
