We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Olive McCarron (née Barr), peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on 28th November 2023. Late of 15 Dunmore Gardens. May she rest in peace.

Beloved wife of Thomas. Devoted mother of Catherine and Clare. Loving grandmother of Keeley, Shane, Nicole, Aodhan and Thomas. A much loved mother-in-law of Mark and Thomas. Dearest sister of Liam and the late Mary. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle and friends.

Olive’s remains will be reposing at her late family residence, 15 Dunmore Gardens from 1pm this afternoon, Tuesday 28th November. Funeral leaving from there on Thursday 30th November at 10:20am for 11am requiem mass in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.
