The death has occurred of Cecilia (Sheila) McCarron (née Curran), 22nd March 2024, at Melmount Manor Nursing Home, Strabane, formerly of Nixon’s Corner and Killea, Derry.

Cecilia will be lovingly missed by her children Neil, Sean, Mary, Catherine and Garrett and their spouses Majella, Maria, Conor McGranaghan and John Friel, her beloved grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and all her extended family and friends. Cecilia is predeceased by her loving husband Jim, formerly of Castleblaugh, Co. Donegal. RIP.

Cecilia will be reposing at Kelly’s Funeral Home, Oakfield, Raphoe from on Sunday, 24th March, between 4.00pm and 9.00pm for anyone wishing to pay their respects. Rosary at 8.00pm. Then on Monday morning, 25th March, the funeral cortège will be leaving from Kelly’s at 10.10am via Nixon’s Corner travelling to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Killea for 11.00am Requiem Mass with burial immediately afterwards in All Saints Church Cemetery, Newtowncunningham.
