We regret to inform you of the passing away of the late Mr Joe McCartan RIP, (Newry and formerly Laurencetown), passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, 21st February 2024.

Dearly beloved husband of June, deeply devoted Daddy to Kieran and Siobhan, loving grandfather to Lee, Adam and Emma, dear brother and uncle, caring father in law to Dermot and Sharon and a dear friend.

Joe’s remains will repose in Mallon’s Funeral Home, Mill Rd, Bessbrook (today) Thursday 22nd February from 5:30-8pm with his family in attendance for friends to pay their respects.

Funeral service 9:15am Friday in Mallon’s followed by cremation in Dardistown Dublin.
