McCARTNEY Winifred. Passed away peacefully 2nd July 2026 at Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast. Beloved wife of the late Samuel RIP, much loved mother of Joseph, Bernadette, Dolores, Clare and Roisin, mother-in-law of Ian and Gary, cherished grandmother of Victoria, Ben, Jonathan, Rebecca, Niamh, Connor, Eve, Shannon, Ross and Ryan, great-grandmother of Jude, Tommy and Alfie. She will be sorely missed by all her extended family and friends.

Winifred is reposing at O’Kanes Funeral Home, 2 St. Judes Avenue, Belfast, BT7 2GZ. Those wishing to pay their respects are welcome to call on Friday between the hours of 1.00pm – 5.00pm, Saturday 10.00am -1.00pm or on Monday 9.00am -5.00pm. Her remains will be removed to Good Shepherd Church, Ormeau Road, on Tuesday 7th July for Requiem Mass at 12.00 noon followed by cremation in Roselawn Crematorium.
