ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
We the family of the late Patrick (Paddy) McCaul wish to express our sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement.
We are especially grateful to extended family, friends and neighbours for their kindness, generosity and love throughout this difficult time. Thank you to everyone who sent cards, flowers, provided refreshments and attended the funeral.
To the staff of Longfield Care Home and the Foyle Hospice Nurses we are eternally grateful for the care and compassion you gave to Paddy.
A special word of thanks to Monsignor Dolan and Fr McDermott for visiting him in Longfield and Fr McGavigan for the beautiful funeral Mass.
Thank you also to WJ O’Brien & Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton, for the caring and dignified way in which Paddy’s funeral arrangements were carried out and Michelle Conaghan for the beautiful music.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our deepest appreciation.

Paddy’s Month’s Mind Mass will take place on Saturday 18th October at 6.15pm in St Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn, Derry.

16th September 2025 peacefully at Longfield Care Home surrounded by his loving family, beloved husband of the late Sheila, loving father of Karen, Ian and Siobhan, father-in-law of Bobby, Jo and David, devoted papa of Conor, Aoife, Millie, Becky, Eliza and Sophie, cherished great-grandfather of Finn and Connie and dear brother of Kevin and the late Eileen, Seamus, Bernadette, Brendan, Joan and Brian.

Paddy’s remains will be reposing in his home, 10 Ballynacraig Gardens, Culmore Road, on Wednesday from 11 am – 9 pm. Funeral from there on Thursday at 9.30 am from 10 o’clock Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn. Interment afterwards in the City cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
