Frank (Roe) McCLOSKEY

We the family of the late Frankie McCloskey (Roe) who sadly passed away on 23rd October 2024, wish to extend our sincere thanks and gratitude to everyone who offered support and sympathy on the loss of Frankie.
Sincere thanks to all our family, friends and neighbours who helped out at the wake and funeral. A big thank you to those who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, messages of condolences and the very generous donations made to the Renal unit Altnagelvin.
Special thanks to Fr Sweeney for his very fitting requiem mass. We also extend our thanks to Joelene and Martin for their beautiful singing and music and also to Annie Jo our Church sacristan.
A special word of thanks to Dr Byrne and Dr Knox and all the staff at Dungiven Health centre and also the staff at Roe Pharmacy over the past number of years.
A sincere thanks to The Renal unit, Cardiology ward, all the staff and the Ambulance service at Altnagelvin who cared for Frankie over the years.
Lastly, we would like to thank Deborah, Seamus and Eugene at McLaughlins Funeral directors for the professional, kind and caring manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our heartfelt and sincere appreciation to all.
Frankies month mind will take place Thursday 21st November at 7pm Mass in Saint Patrick’s Church, Dungiven.
We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Frank McCloskey (Roe) suddenly but peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital on the 23rd of October 2024. May he rest in peace. Late of 18 Crebarkey Road, Dungiven, Co. Derry, BT47 4SJ.
Beloved husband of Bernie. Loving father of Cahal (Sinead), Nuala (Marius) and Siobhan (Eugene). Devoted grandfather of Jake, Lucie, Joseph, Aoibheann, Sienna and Emma. Son of the late Frank and Mary R.I.P and dear brother of Betty (Tourish) Rita (Madden), Sean, Gerard, Nora (Cochrane) and the late Patricia (Duffy) R.I.P.
Reposing at his late home. Wake will commence Thursday 24th of October at 11am. Funeral on Saturday 26th of October leaving his late home at 10am for 11am Requiem Mass in Saint Patrick‘s Church Dungiven. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
