We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Bridie McCloskey (née Canning) peacefully surrounded by her loving family on 2nd of November 2024. May she rest in peace. Late of 35 Mountainview Park, Dungiven, Co Derry.

Beloved wife of the late Seamus R.I.P and loving mother of Darrell (Ann) , Devona (Alex), Davog (Maaike) and Oran (Lisa). Devoted grandmother of James, Luke, Einin, Silvie, Isabella, Isaac and Isla. Loving daughter of the late James and Annie Canning R.I.P and dear sister of Pat, Carol and the late Angela, Connie and Peter R.I.P. Very deeply regretted by the Canning and McCloskey family circles.

Bridie’s wake will commence at 6pm this evening- Saturday (2nd) at her late home.

Family time 10pm to 12noon and morning of funeral. Funeral on Monday 4th of November leaving her late home at 10.15am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Dungiven. Mass can be viewed on the link below. Interment afterwards in adjoining graveyard.
